David, thanks for the thread, actually I am looking for the coolant level sensor and not the temperature sensor. The leveling sensor is supposed to be on or in the expansion tank. The tank looks different for a 3.0 liter versus a 4.4. I didn't where the sensor was located on the 4.4 tank...

Thanks for you help..... I was able to change the sensor, but I did end up breaking the small hose on the top ... talk about a bad design, cheap material.... ended up buying a new one...... $50......... crazy... a normal radiator hose is about $5 It still amazes me that a car that costs more than most other SUVs has so many problems and parts are beyond expensive. |
