Need Help....

I'm looking to swap back to my stock intake from the AFE Intake and when I went to the garage to find it, it must of been thrown out during one of the times I was cleaning the garage. So now I have to purchase a new stock intake. Could someone tell me exactly what I need to buy just to replace back to stock?? I'm looking at realoem.com and just wondering if its the intake manifold?? Or could it be something else... I kind of need an answer quick because a friend is coming to pick up the X5 this saturday. Thanks a lot fellas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

** If anyone is selling their stock intake, that would be great also.

This is for a 2005 X5 4.4i. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is the "Intake Muffler":

You would need the intake muffler, an air filter element and the spring clips. You may or may not still have the rubber boot to connect the intake muffler to the "suction hood".

Looks like the intake muffler for the 4.6is might be cheaper:

The 4.6is intake muffler has an opening to let outside air in. It works off of a vacuum advance but you could just leave it open.

I am installing my Dinan CAI and thinking about selling my stock air intake but it will not be for a few weeks.

Hi Silent,

Why are you getting rid of the AFE? I was looking into getting the AFE myself, you have a bad experiance with it ?

Sounds like a swap could be arranged!
