RPM Jumping 4k at stop/reverse.

My RPMS sometimes jump to 4,000RPMs when I am at a stop or reversing. What could be causing this? Happened to me twice. Car kicks and I have to put it in N or brake fast.

Spark Plugs?

Definitely not the spark plugs. You have an electronics problem and is dangerous. Take it to your mechanic immediately!
