I don't like my Chrome window trim

What can I do with my Chrome window trim? I don't like chome.

You can replace them but it's a bitch to do. If you search there is a write-up. If your handy you might get away with some black overlay. Just make a template. Then cut the stickers close to that. Use a sharp exacto knife and a squiggie to make the install look clean. I might try this on my pillars since I have some discoloring.

Interested in the black overlay. What type of materials are you talking about?

Something similar to this. But if installed incorrectly it might look like shit. I think it will work great for the pillars because the pillars are much flatter and have no major curves to them.
