Re Initializing the Key Fob Remote Funtions

Here's a *kewl* tip I saw when my SA re-initialized the key fob to the car.
Turn key all the way but don't start the car.
Turn Off.
Hold Down the front button on the key fob.
While holding down, tap the center lock key 3 times and it will lock.

Dunno how accurate my steps are, but it's more or less the sequence he told me he did as I watched him reinitialize it.

that sounds about right:

get in doors unlock
turn key 5 times stopping at position 2
take out key, hold unlock
press lock 3 times
upon release, doors will lock and unlock

this programs the key(s) to reset the rolling code, and can also reset preset key memory functions

Actually, it's position #1, not position #2.

...and, you have to be fairly quick with the 5x to position 1

Does someone have a difinitive service bulletin on this procedure? My wife and my keys are not remembering our seat settings reliably and I'd like to do a key-memory reset and have it re-learn my settings.

Not that I don't trust a Chef or a Rabbit...
