I did the speaker replacement in my 2006 3 weeks after picking it up at the factory - I absolutely love the crystal clear sound - I went this route rather than buying the BMW premium sound - along with a sub, amp, and iPod hookup - can't help on installation though, I had BSW in Atlanta do the install - I have not taken it to any meets, so I can't give you others' opinions on the setup - but it is way better than the sound I get in my 2001

I don't have it.
I have heard people with stock speakers/dsp (premium) speakers doing it. They all loved it. |

Yes, I have them (MB Quart option) and it sounds MUCH BETTER. For me it was totally worth it.

I did the MB Quart as well along with the BSW sub option that's in the right rear panel. The stage 1 was a good start but really needs the sub to make it work out the best. And I love the sound - makes me forget the rattles in the rear hatch. ;o)
