Good news (but old) from BMWNA...Look inside

After one week calling, faxing, emailing and returning calls from BMWNA, I will be at BMW of Fairfax tomorrow morning to replace my instrument cluster with bad pixels. FREE BRAND NEW INSTRUMENT CLUSTER but then I will have to pay 1 hour labor of $115 which is a lot better compared to the $600 parts + $115 labor when they give me the estimate before. BMWNA has been very helpful on my case. If anyone wanting to have theirs replaced for FREE, I think i can help. I have all the information. I will be able to see the temperature displayed, OBC displayed and the milages AGAIN. YAHOOOOO.

Congrats on your cluster news. Good to hear that they are still taking care of this problem.

My son drives a 2002.I took it to Plaza Motors here in St. Louis, they ran the vin# and found out it was put into service on june 25th of 2002.So I had until june 25th of this year to get it fixed.BMW covered the cost 100%.Have your local dealer run the vin for you, they should do it for free and they can tell you everything that has been done by BMW since new,at least thats what my dealer did for me.
