Angry Ebay Nav monitor

So the 16:9 monitor that I bought off ebay was defective. For the winning bid of 510.00 I became the owner of a defective unit that is getting serviced by alpine electronics. The cost of repair is 320.00 because of a bad lcd screen. The bad part is the seller is being unreasonable with accepting the fact that he needs to give me money back. i guess I'll have to go to small claims in Manhattan since that is where I met the seller and paid for it. I got a written receipt for the amount and statement saying that the monitor was to be in good working order and no dead pixels, and I also took down his drivers license ID#. I hope I have enough paperwork to get a judgement for the cost of shipping and repairs which totalled 350.00.

That's a bummer to hear. Good luck with the repairs, and with collecting from that bum seller.

Good Luck, I'd find him and throw a beating on him

Not true. Even with the repairs, that's less then half the cost of a new one.
