The red light does not light up or anything when i push the garage door opener..

It has been around 95-103F around here, something my car has never seen, so im wonderin maybe the weather killed it?

Clearing means put ignition in first on position.

Hold down Button 1 and Button 3 for about 1/2 minute until LED starts blinking rapidly

Integrated universal remote control is reset (cleared) to null

Depending on what type of GDO you have (fixed or rolling) determines next step. I just followed the one on the main forum page to make mine work.

I just programmed mine. The operators manual only tells half of the story. Make sure you use your original remote to program the buttons in the X5. Then you have to program the motor of the garage door opener to work with the X5. There are program buttons on the back of the garage door motor. You will need a ladder. The operators manual doesn't tell you about the 2nd part.
