p/n:71-60-0-009-698 ELECTRIC KIT 1 159.20
cost is crevier's price. its pretty much plug and play. you don't have to remove the bumper to install the electrics but you must remove the spare time and access the radio compartment area near the battery in the rear tire well. what can we specifically answer for you? |

I have 2001 X5 3.0 And about to add a trailor hitch, wanted to make sure that all x5's have a wiring harnes(plug) and some type of instructions. Thank you in advance for your help.

The OEM install kit includes the wiring harness. The connectors are all there under the spare tire. The "pigtail" connector that leads to the hitch has a dummy cover on it from the factory that must be removed before the "pigtail" can be plugged in.
Go OEM - it's the best! |
