USA Spec Aux Interface and DSC/ABS Lights

Has anyone experienced issues when installing the "USA Spec Aux Interface"? I have reasons to believe my DSC/ABS lights come on sometimes (only) when I plug it in my 2002 X5 3.0. Anyone? Or would it be a very long shot? and mere coincidence? I am about to leave it off for a good while to see for sure, but has anyone experienced something like this, installing AUX equipment or a CD changer?

Everything works fine when these lights are on, speedo, no loss of power. Once I restart the car, the lights go off.

I had one for a little while and never had any issues with it.

Recently installed mine, zero problems so far (other than audio quality with different connections).

Well call me crazy but it's been two days since I disconnected the AUX and no DSC lights so far... I was getting them once a day. We'll see, thanks.
