Tire Question...

I bought two almost new tires with 9/32 tread still left. But when i roll these unmounted (meaning not on rims yet) tires, one tire goes very straight and other wobbles or shakes. I cannot see any plug or anything unusual. Any idea why this one tire would shake?

Mount them first.

May have been stored improperly; some tires take a "set" on the wheel;
some tires come out of the factory with an eccentric run-out; etc.

I'm with Big Wagner: have them mounted and balanced carefully and see what's up.

So the advise so far seems to be to mount them first and then check it out. I'll do that in a day or two and keep you all posted. But i am still surprised to see it moving side to side even when rolling on a flat surface.

Me too...I suspect a manufacturing flaw, (that got by the QC dept), or
a mean "set" from vertical storage.

A good shop with a Hunter machine and someone that really knows how
to use it, is worth the hunt and price, imo.
