Adaptive shift transmission reset question.

Hi All, I recently had the dealer reset the transmission and delete the adaptive settings that were stored, this made a huge difference.

I know there is software, reset tools etc. to do this yourself, however I would like to know the correct procedure after clearing the settings, as the shift patterns are very aggressive and harsh once cleared it literally bangs into the next gear if not set correctly.

E.G. with Benz you shift through all the gears, then drive the vehicle without exceeding a certain RPM range etc.

Anyone know how to do the 6 speed automatic ??
