Brake pad ware sensor
Had a very productive week on the X driverside CV boot replaced, and rear brake job completed. Had a question about the the brake pad wear sensor. I have a 2001 X5 4.4i when I went to replace the rear drivers side sensor I noticed it was missing. I checked the rear passengers side and that one was there so I looked to see if maybe it was forgotten during a stealer brake job but the actual socket was missing inside the plastic box where the pulse generator and pad wear sensor are housed. I even looked for the wires farther up but found no trace of them. Anyone ever heard of this before? |

Thanks! I had no idea looked like everything was there for it except the cable itself.
