bill --
they are not cheap. i don't know how hard it is to do, but i doubt its anything super difficult. if you like, when i get home i can look it up for you on the TIS and post the instructions on how to do it. |

OK
Can you get a manual for the x5 yet or is it to new. I would like to replace the belt befor summer and other things. I had the car for two years and it has 80,000 miles on it. Thanks Bill |

its not a written manual. its on CD. its available here and there. there are two components: the ETK/EPC (parts) and TIS (technical information service).
the CD manuals cover up until 2003. after that, BMW moved everything online. it is possible to subscribe to the BMW site but its expensive. its about $30 for a 24 hour period. well worth it if you know what you want to look up.... monthly and yearly subscription is very expensive and they track your logins.... i don't have the link here, but that's also an option. |
