2004 X5 3.0i Features Question

Hi, im new to this site and the BMW world period, just bought my first one, for my wife of course, anyways, the options section was helpful but im still curious about some stuff. The dealer here in Scottsdale, AZ. told us that the one we bought had not only the sport package but also the premium package. Is this possible and how do I tell? Any replies would be very helpful.

Take a look here: 2004 X5 Pricing Guide

As with most BMW's, your X most likely has other options and packages as well. Your BMW dealer will be able to give you that information. There is a plethora of resources/information on the main page.

Hmm, my 2 pennies.

If you have Bi-Xenon headlights (which you do with the premium package) then you already have Xenon hi/low beams. The secondary hi-beams (the two lights closest to the grill) are there only to flash and act as DRL (day-time running lights).

Oil is changed every 15,000 miles.

Yes, you can have premium and sport and cold weather packages all in one vehicle.

You can have pretty much any combination of packages. A good way to tell if you have premium package on a 2004 is whether you have the automatic climate control, wood trim, and 4 way adjustable lumbar. You probably do, since only a few have the manual, rotary dial-type manual climate controls (my friend has this).

If you know you have bi-xenon adaptives, then you have xenons. The outer bulbs function as both low and high-beam (hence why its bi-xenon).

Oil changes are required every 15k miles, but for longevity's sake, you could change it in between at 7500mi.
