Thumbs down I replaced brakes and rotor now I hear a funny sound

I replaced my brakes and rotor now whenever i step on brakes i hear a weird sound, i also hear a sound when i let go of brakes is this normal or what can it be?

Could be that they haven't been broken in correctly, though hearing sounds after brake release is odd. How is the stopping? and do you feel any pulsing in the brake pedal?

Stopping is good, is like if there was air or something, how much time should i give the brakes before sound goes away, or should i take it back

take it back, you don't want to play around with brakes way too dangerous.

"you" replaced or "they" replaced?
because if you did it, just go back trace everything make sure you did it right.
if they did it for you, take it back let them figure it out on their dime since you already paid for it.

ralphy4321: I just had my brakes done, rotors and pads. I was informed that there is a brake-in period of about 100 miles before they get quite. I have placed about 40 miles on the X so far, and the brakes are getting considerably less noisy.......

OK i will try the one hundred mile thing, but at the rate i drive might be a month or so

I don't know, you don't generally hear a noise on brake release.
