Here we go!! To start, and make sure things are the same as mine; Take out the left wiring socket and pull it out towards you so you can see it correctly. Like this:



When you do that I want you to look at the front of the plug, you will see numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6. Each wire goes it some of the slotted numbers can you jot down what color and which numbered slot the wire goes into. If its like mine it should go something like this;
1. Black/Green
2. Brown
3. Empty
4. 2 wires
5. Green/Brown
6. Empty

in this moment i have

1: empty
2: brown
3: two wire 1 violet\grey 1 violet\grey
4: two wire 1 green\blue 1 green\blue
5: black\brown
6: empty

Your X sound like it already has the face lift wires as per the diagram I have. Just to be sure can you also check your right tail light and jot down the wires and numbers and tell me.

this is ok.......

Your wiring is all ok! So the next thing I would check is your original bulbs against the facelift ones as there is a small difference in the elements in pre-facelift and facelift.

the bulbs is the original facelift

Can you look at your old tailights and tell me the type of bulb in the top red section and lower red section? For example:




The top bulb should have 2 elements the lower section 1 element!

the old have 1 element down and 2 elements up inside the bulbs

the new, have one up and one down
