Alarm System doesn't work now! NOOO

My car wouldn't turn on and all the electronics seemed sluggish. I jump started my car and drove around ,came back and again it would not start after I left it off for a while. I thought my battery went bad so I went to autozone to get a new one. I finnaly got the battery changed and now my key controls won't work and the red light above the dash doesn't blink. Saving a few bucks by DIY hopefully didn't end up costing me more! I can start my car fine.

Any ideas?

Problem happening again

I replaced the battery and now the new one is dead too! This time the car electronics won't come on at all. Also, my key would not unlock the door. I had to get another spare to get the door open. I have a valentine one that is always plugged in. Could this be draining the battery?

Should I get it towed to the dealer or bring it to carmax. (Carmax extended warranty). Any suggestions?
