Car Went missing

My friends x5 got stolen and he had spent aprox. 50 k in upgrades in it, its a 2003 4.6 The insurance company still did not pay, The car had navigation, is it possible to track the car since there is is gps? By the way this happened in canada

you can't track it with GPS.

I don't think 4.6is has BMW assist.

Yes It doesn't have bmw assist, only gps navigation

what do you mean the insurance still did not pay...why haven't they paid FMV for the X? They also have to take some of the mods into consideration, its always best to let the carrier know of big mods, they may take that kind of stuff into consideration with your premiums and give more value for the ride if its stolen or destroyed.

I had a harley davidson motorcycle stolen last year and they had 90 days to recover the bike before they had to pay me and they would not give ma a dime for all the mods on the bike because I did not tell them beforehand I feel bad the guy it is a sick feeling having something stolen worse when it is you're toy I hope he gets it back

insurance company will not pay for any mods thats for sure. how would they know if you ever put the mods on? they will kbb the vehicle and thats about.
