Sawdust in the X5?

I have just recently purchase a CPO '05 4.4 X5 and have noticed that in the back where the light is for the passenger (right side) there appears to be very fine sawdust inside the lens. I thought this was strange and then when I opened the back right side where the sub is it also looks like there is some of the same stuff back there. Any ideas what this could be?

The dude who owned it before you may have been an independent contractor - carpenter. Carried the mitre saw in the back of the X as he want from residential remodel to residential remodel. Kept the back open so he could listen to tunes as he was cutting trim. Saw dust went everywhere. You're just seeing the places he forgot to clean.

Or, you could have termites.

The sawdust could very well be from his Sub enclosure construction. Most people use MDF to construct the box.

But termites is also a possibility
