So long to the X5 - A/C problem last straw
I traded my X5 for a 525i. We have had too many problems with it, the last being the A/C going out. The dealer did state that there have been many problems with the A/C fan going out on the X.
I did love the way it drove and that is why we stuck with BMW. I test drove the Lexus and Infinity and they are nothing in comparison to the driveability of the German cars. So long to all and thanks for all the help with my X.

It is a 2007 and I believe it is the E60 body. It does have the engine upgrade to 3.0. The I drive is very nice. I heard it was cumbersome to use but once you learn the tricks of navigation it is easy to use.

All 2007 525's have 3.0L motors, difference is 525 has 215hp vs 530's 255hp.
Should have got a 6 spd

Peake was great with the trade. They did not ding me because of the AC being broken. This is the main reason for me doing business with them. Other dealers would They were always courteous with the many problems I have had with the X over the past year and even got me an alternator replacement 2K out of warranty for free.
