Unhappy .......damp smell in X5 after rain..........

Find, especially if it rains and the X5 sits out overnite, the next morning there's a weird dank smell in the cabin. I haven't found any leaks that are showing up, although who knows what's happening under the carpet due to the thickness of the foam............... maybe a drain hosing the underside of the carpet ??!?!??! But can't find any obvious leagage anywhere.

Any thoughts ??

Im getting a similar smell.
I was told it is a possible mold buildup on something in the heating/ac system.
My smell goes away after the fans been blowing for a bit or im just getting use to it.

I also had a similar problem Turned out to be a misaligned drain pipe for the sunroof. One part of the carpet in the passenger foot-well would feel damp after driving in the rain.
