leveling system problem?

This morning I was looking at my X5 from the rear before I pulled out of the garage. The car seemed to be leaning towards the front passenger side. I thought I had a flat. Looks at the tires and they looked fine. I then pressed the unlock key on my remote, 5 seconds later I heard the car raising up and the level of the card seemed better. I measured the tire to the top of the wheel base and it seems that the passenger wheel base is about 1/4" higher than the driver side.

The car is out warranty so I am afraid that they might want to charge me a bundle to get it fixed.

Should I be concerned?

Ambro
