Smile Horn help, upgraded from 4 spk wheel to spt 3 spk

Hello, gretting's from sunny (replace with rain) Ireland

I've been viewing X5world since I got my first X5 in April, but never got around to posting, its a great place, I get so much less done in work now
All the guides/info is priceless, helped me many times

I'm from Naas ~ Kildare, (30 miles from Dublin) and have a 2002 3.0D Auto X5
(and an 1991 e30 Cab ~ all I'll say is BMW's from the 80's-90's were so much better built)

I'll post pics of the X at the weekend, but some details are

Black sapphire met, Black leather, Wood trim
19" wheels (style 63's toyo proxies)
Xenon's,
Antracite headliner (but its an SE?) 70K miles
Chrome handle trim upgrade
Titanium grill upgrade
White indicators (turn signals)

I love it the diesel pulls like a train, having just upgraded from an E39 525I sport, I dont miss the petrol engine at all, the X is better on Fuel, average 32 mpg...

Now for the help bit

I just upgraded to a standard sport 3 spoke steering wheel from a Standard 4 spoke wheel, using the (excellent) guides here and it all went great,

However...and I've looked, for days all over the place, e46 forums, e39 forums....

I'm still unsure where to reconnect the 2 horn wires to the new 3 spoke wheel, looking at some of the pictures, it appears the the brown one is screwewd to the base of the steering wheel under the airbag cradle, Not sure where the other one goes though?

Can any one help, Pictures would be great if possible as driving a car around Dublin without a horn make's me a liability

Thanks
Graham

:xoutpost:

What color is your extra wire? Does it have a red connector on it? If so, it's the connector for a heated wheel. Did your old wheel have this feature and if so, is your new wheel also heated?
