B Pillar Trim Removal - Outside of Door

My passenger's side B Pillar, the part on the outside of the door, has a nice sized dent on it from the PO. I just perused the article on window trim replacement. The article does not detail the removal of the B Pillar trim so I just want to make sure I have the process straight.

Do I need to remove everything in the article up to and including the window trims on top of and on bottom of the door? From the pictures is sure seems like the B Pillar is in there behind those two pieces of trim.

Sure seems like a big job!!! Anyone else done it???
