iPod & info display

I want to add iPod integration to my 2004 (UK) X5. This has the 16:9 widescreen Navigation with TV function but no DSP. I want to be able to:-

From the Multi-function steering wheel
- Select Next/Previous track
- Fast forward/Rewind
On the X5's central (16:9) display
- Browse by Artist, Album and/or Playlist
- See Title, Artist and Album of playing track

It will need to be able to work with a new Classic iPod.

Can anyone suggest the best kit to enable this?

I believe the USA-Spec unit sold by Bavarian Autosport will do most, if not all of those things.

All I have found there are references to items that don't do it all, so perhaps you'd be so kind as to point out exactly which part of that answers ALL my questions - especially since the IceLink has now been discontinued.

Our testers arrived today, the new iPods lock out the Clickwheel when connected to the DICE on the Classic and 3rd Generation nano. We'll be performing more testing as these only arrived a few hours ago.

This is the kit you need, provided you are prewired for a CD Changer:

DICE iPod Integration Kit for BMW
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=268

With the DICE, you are able to browse by Song, Playlist and Album as well as have an additional AUX port and text on your NAV screen.
