Aftermarket at Dealer?

Getting my suspension and brakes checked today finally. Turns out the bushings are cracked (I knew it would be a matter of time!).

Having my rear brakes done as well as I had my fronts done a while back ago. So here is the interesting part, my SA calls and says that "the fronts look good but they were done with aftermarket parts."

I find this hard to believe when I have only taken my car to the dealer to get it serviced. Is this something that is common place? A dealer using aftermarket parts?
