Unhappy I didn't think it would be this tuff, but the X5 is Sold!!(lots of Pics)

Well, It's finally gone or almost. I'm dropping it off in an hour. The money is in my bank and the paperwork is signed. It's sitting in my driveway all cleaned out and ready for the new owner. Which is just a town over. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. I might see it drive by god I hope not. I only owned it for a year and a half, But it definately was one of my favorite vehicles. The X never really gave me any major problem and when it did it was cool learning how to fix it and how BMW put this SAV together.

Anyways I just wanted to thank all the members that have helped me figure out any issues or questions I had about the X5. There is to many to list thats for sure. I plan on checking in every now and then. My life has really changed in the last year and a half. Since getting engaged, Which a X5 member helped me out with the perfect spot in NYC to pop the question. See Link http://www.xoutpost.com/lounge/13869-...?highlight=nyc Thanks Technomage!! Now with the Closing of our first home in 3 weeks and getting married in less then 9 months (june14th). Trying to take care of a nice vehicle and trying to Remodel and fill a new house isn't going to work. So atleast it is not because I lost my job or health reasons, It's all good in the long run.

Also I will still be able to sell the Adjustable endlinks if there is still an interest in them. Please email me at [email protected] since I won't be able to check my Pm's as often. Here's the link. http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-items...light=endlinks

In closing here are some pics of my OLD X5. From begining to end.

Wow, you put in a lot of work on your X5 and I totally understand that it's tough to see it go... But it's for better things so all is good as you've said...

I'm sure you'll go get another X5 or another Bimmer soon when the dust settles...

Good luck and surely come visit us here and share some pics!

I have said it before, and I'll say it again; That's one sharp X! How much did you let it go for?

Wow! Reading this post was like the last day of high school when they play the video at the end of all the still shots thru the year and everybody cries. Ha! Ha!
I didn't know ya but congratulations on the engagement and new home. I've thought your X was very good looking since I joined here. I think if I had to sell my X I would buy a diecast model so that I could mod it (ie: AE's, retro nav, 22's, etc...) and would still have a reason to come here.
Take Care!

She's a keeper. I just did the AE's and cleared my headlights and my wife actually thought it looked amazing. Added some fuel to the fire for buying 22's.
