Low Beam headlight turning Purple
After much help from a lot people yesterday on my headlight problem. To my surprise, last night the failed lamp turned on, but it's no longer bright write (bluish) color. It's actually turning purple-ish. Is it still a bulb problem? or something else? Thanks for any help I can get. And I will try to upload a picture if possible later on! Thanx |

Sounds like a bulb issue.

If you have xenons, its usually a sign that the bulb is doing to die soon.

Most likely bulb or possibly ignitor... I've already had both sides replaced on mine..

Easiest way to isolate it would be to swap the bulb fom one headlight to the other, that way you'll know whether its the bulb or the ballast.
