Rear Bosch Icon fitment blues

This is not rocket scientist but I've fiddelled enough with it to seek help....
As winter sets in, I decided to get fresh wiper blades.

The rear has the metal arm and hooks in just fine.
However, something is slightly *higher* than normal as the cover latch will not seat down to latch it. It has around 1/8" more that it needs to go down and *latch* but for whatever reason, and as much pressure as I am putting down, it is not happening.

I've reseated the wiper blade from the hook 2X to no luck....
Am I looking at this wrong ......suggest another angle for me to look it ....cause I can't figure this bugger out.
