Question 2004 4.4 Common Warranty Repairs?

Hello All,

Since my warranty expires in a month, I wanted to take it in to the dealer one last time to go over any issues. Problem is I do not have really any noticeable issues. Is there any common 2004 X5 warranty repairs? Maybe some items I can bring up to have the tech look at? Heard of possible sway bar issues?..Things that have happended infrequently to me:

1) False Alarms - possible hood switch
2) Wierd door lock issues with remote - have to press re-lock to get rear door locks to unlock with remote.

Thanks to all.

Not a whole lot that the dealership will replace for 'common warranty repair' items until they break, for example they are not going to replace a window regulator unless yours is busted even though its a common problem.

You could ask them to check suspension components - boots, sway bars, bushings, CV joints etc.
I would make sure that all of your 'free' fluid changes/maintenance items have been performed per maintenance schedule - brake fluid, coolant, oil etc.
