X5 Bluetooth pairing

For all you X5 dudes with the speak button in the centre console to pair your Bluetooth phone you need to do this:
1. Turn your ignition key to the fully off position.
2. Hold down the speak button in the center console.
3. Still holding down the speak button in the console turn the key to position 1 keep holding the speak button FOR 3 SECONDS.
4. Bluetooth in the X5 is now in the "Pairing Mode".
5. Now pair your phone as per maker's instructions.
6. Turn key to off position to complete.
You can pair up to 5 phones with your BMW and most Bluetooth phones work for basic calling etc., though not all are "fully compatible" giving all functions.

Happy dialing.
