Yes, but don't buy it!
You can download a copy - suggest you pop over to the Navigation forum on here for info. It is under the V.30 is now available thread. |

Thanks for the reply, that was very helpful. I have downloaded the V30 update for my MKIV system in my 2006 X5.
However, nowhere have I found any information on the 3D navigation setup. Can someone address this. Has anyone got the 3D nav to work. Do I need a new map DVD or will the V30 update make everything 3D? Is this a setting? Any images? |

As found in other threads:
Enabling (3D) perspective (birds-eye view) with MKIV and v27 firmware or newer: Push the "MENU" button to get to the the main menu. Scroll to the "SETTINGS" menu selection and click the knob to select it. Push and hold the "MENU" button for about 8 seconds to enter the GPS Service Menu. Scroll beyond the bottom to a 2nd page, where you will get the Perspective option. Click the knob on the Perspective option to select it. Go back to the map view and click the knob. Select 'Map Positioning' then 'Perspective' |

I downloaded the file for the V30 update. Its a .rar file. I figured out how to decompress it and not its two files. I burnt these onto a cd (data format) and popped it into the nav unit and it diddnt read anything. What am I doing wrong?

I used nero to burn the 'data' files on the CD so its a regular data CD with two files on it, approx 140 MB or so. Is this all tha is requird?
