Heater not working, any ideas
I'm new to this forum and am hoping someone will have the answer to my heating problem. I have a 2001 4.4 and find when the car is on the move I get heat through the vents but if I stop no heat comes thru, even with the fan turned up to max. I have checked the fuses and replaced the micro filter but still no fan. Anyone have an idea of what I should check next?

You may be having trouble with your final stage resistor. There's a number of postings on this site that detail the sorts of problems it creates and also how to replace it.
Good luck |

Replaced the FSR and we now have heat, one thing to remember if you have a right hand drive car the FSR is on the drivers side so no need to remove the glovebox as i discovered after I had removed mine.
Thanks for the advise. |
