Computer codes and engine stall frequently!!

I have a 2001 X5 and the vehicle shuts off every so often. This problem suddenly started and wondering what parts needs to be changed? I had a friend scan it for me; can some one help me to figure them out:

1st scan
243 misfire 6
241 misfire 5
242 misfire 4
238 misfire 1
123 electronic thermostat control
65 camshaft position sensor inlet
228 O2 bank 2 control deviation

2nd scan 3 week later when problems came back!!

123 electronic thermostat control
65 camshaft position sensor inlet
204 idlespeed plause ability

Any help would be appreciated.!!

I had similar problems and found that the MAF wasn't connected up properly. The hose was loose and the vibration of the engine caused air to enter intermittently which defeating the MAF. A quick tightening of the connectors fixed it.

I hope your problem is as simply solved.

I will check that out. Hope fully that solves. I was thinking the cam shaft position sensor needed to change.

If it is a 2001 it could be the harness itself: bad pins. I would try the cam sensor first.
