oil filter - 3.0i different than 4.4i?

I would imagine the 4.4i filter is larger? Or is it the same? I can't tell from some of the listings on ebay. Anyone got an OE part # to reference?

Searching for OEM, Mann, Hengst, Mahle.

From what I can tell they are different:

3.0i = M54 Engine = 11 42 7 512 300
4.4i/4.6i = M60/M62 Engine = 11 42 7 510 717

Is this a good deal then? Do they come with the rubber o-ring gasket and crush washer as well?

I'm not sure i need 6 filters.

4.4 filter is a lot larger, almost twice as long as the 3.0 one

The ebay filters are not a good deal. $51 + $8 bucks for shipping = $59 for 6 filters. This average out to be over $9.83 a piece. My local dealer is selling them for $8.99 per filter. Try a quote from the sponsor Morristown...they might even be cheaper than $8.99 per.

I looked at autohausaz.com, and it is a good deal I guess if you buy 7 of them. But I live in AZ so I would have to pay tax, and I don't really want that many. These ebay ones worked out to about $7.50 a piece shipped and I only had to buy 4.
