X5 Folding mirror retro-fit one small question please...

I have read the how-to guides, and various threads on this subject but just wanted to confirm that i do not need the passenger door window control box in order to perform this retrofit. Just the mirrors and switch?

I only ask as on my last project, an E39, these alone were not enough to get the fold function to work. Mines a June '03 3.0d Sport, UK (but imported from DE).

I trust the info I've read but wanted to be sure that it's not just applicable to US models (as was the case with the Bluetooth retrofit).

Also, autofold on door-lock. Is this configurable using Autologic?
