Whistle Love the German product, New to BMW X5

Been wanting an X5 for some time; Got one last Thursday at the Bimmer Autoauction last week in Atlanta. I want to immediately upgrade to 275/40 20" wheels/tires even though my 3.0 has the original 17" wheels on it from factory. Further, I want to add the factory oem running boards. Now, what am I going to encounter on the net with various replica 20" wheels and (Toyo tires) and Bimmer type folks wanting to sell running boards with (new) fender flares etc etc etc...? I know everybody wants to make a buck, but......? Can I upgrade a 2006 X5 3.0 to 20" w/o a problem to 20" wheels etc? Further, what will I run into if I want to add the running boards and try to install my self? I live in S. Florida, hot weather and non-existent hurricanes and all, and I held out for the White X5 with tan leather with less than 20K miles, 06, and just under $33K. Think I got the deal of the day!! Any informed input would be appreciated...!! Thanks, and I'll be back, again...I'm sure!

:xoutpost: Many of your questions can be answered in the articles section. Running Boards is a good DIY project. Just make sure to get a good rivet gun.
Be sure to post a picture quick or else you'll see the following message on your screen .......The peeps around here can be ruthless sometime. Glad to have you in our world.....Phil
