Whats up with the oil in my car?

I had my car go in for general serivce (oil change and what not) and the last couple of days my car has been telling me to check my oil, so I go and check it today, and there like no oil at all in there and its all dirty brown looking like dirt. My question is how did 8 quarts disappear so fast from august 13 to now? My car show's only one green bar gone. What do I do?

T,Have leaks? Bad or loose oil drain plug?
If you haven't noticed clouds of smoke behind you,
it has tobe a serious leak. That 8 qts didn't evaporate.
Aren't you still under warranty?
Go hammer on the joint that did the oil change.

I checked to see if there was a leak, but I can't find any under the car, theres no oil on the floor, and no cloud of smoke behind me either. I already called the dealership where it when in for service. Im guessing they never did the oil changed in the first place, I think this because when I check the oil it was gunky almost it was really bad. Plus there barely any in there like the tip of a finger nail thats how much is in there, and it a dark brown color, not like tan like it suppose to be.

They never did it, or they forgot to add the oil. Check the oil filter asap. See if it is new or the same one from before. Either way, add oil ASAP!!! These guy's that were supposed to do the oil change, should be shot!!!

open the the black canister located right by the engine bay. Its got a hexagon top. You can't miss it. Just unscrew the canister and see the condition of the filter. Either way, add oil asap... Don't worry to much about it. Just add the oil, and when you get a chance, go get an oil change from some where else.

check the cooling system, too. see if you have any oil in radiator. I had once a problem like this with a vw Golf. the head gasket was blown and the oil was into the cooling system. good luck

You need to add oil asap..regardless..and then go kill whoever is responsible. That could totally destroy your engine..
