2005 E53 4.4i - 46,000 Miles - Out of Warranty Prep Questions
My X is about to go out of warranty. I have three green bars in my service display so it doesn't look like I'll get another major service done before it clicks over to 50,000 miles and Out of Warranty. I have already had my front brakes done and am anxiously waiting for the message for my back brakes to come up before 50K... I plan to keep it for 100K miles. Here are the three questions: 1) Is there anything I should push for before my 50K mileage mark? 2) Should I buy the maintenance program that covers regular maintenance until 100K? If so, at what price? 3) Should I buy an extended warranty or CPO it until 100K? If so, at what price? Thanks! Chris Last edited by CGSTL; 10-15-2007 at 09:54 AM. |

See my other post on my experience today. My last two rear brake jobs (both covered during extended 6 year maintenence) did not trigger the brake light. Only the fronts did.
Personally, the extended maintenence and warranty is a bargain for these cars. |
