i live in socal where snow is very light in the mountains, my 20's would still not be recommended huh?

so people who actually buy the 4.8 x5 can't even go up to the mountains during snow season? if i pay that $70,000 + for an sav or suv i'd sure as hell want to be able to get up w. my stocks

most people here with 20s also have a separate set of 17s or 18s for the snow. doesn't take long to swap them out, or have your local shop do it for about $20.

I have a set of 18" rims with Dunlop winter sports just for winter. With my winter tires and 18" rims I can do 60mph on 4" snow no problems. I don't use my 20" wheels on snow.
