Got Some new Wheels....
I have been lurking around the board for a month or two since I got an 05 X for my wife. Only modifications so far are the Style 168 20" stagered wheels and the painted grill's.

Next is 4.8 exhaust tips.

We are in Oswego. Bought the car from Auto Barn in Evanston. I do a lot of business with them. I had Laurel, Jacobs, and Patrick all looking for cars and jsut couldn't find the right color, options, price.

welcome.... nice X, those rims are my 2nd favorite, of course next to 87s.... so how did you paint ur grills?

I used the great wright up in the link below to paint the grills. They turned out perfect and look jsut like the factory Titanium grills.

Opinions please:
would the painted grill look good on my BLACK 03 4.6is ?
Maybe some other color than titanium silver? What do the experts think?

Hey, I think black grilles would look best.. I'm rocking these black shadowline grilles right now and am loving the look(agressive).

I'm debating this black grill.
The problem I have is that it will be too much black and no contrast at all.
On silver, grey, white, etc black grill is OK, but on a all black X5 ?
I'm not sure I "feel" it.
I am deffin. not a fan of chrome though.
