It could be the phone...the module is pretty damn picky what it will pair with. My wife's Razr works fine (naturally, it's a motorola), but neither my Treo nor my Blackjack worked at all.

Of course, YMMV,

Well.....one 12 hour drive later....and the new (to me) 4.8 is in the driveway. It was great trip.....aside from some white-knucklin through the rockies....those stock Diamaris do not like the cold.

First impressions....(coming from an 01 3.0 sport owner). Aside from the power, there are alot of other pleasent surprises.
1. Steering....much easier to steer in the parking lot.
2. Leather....much softer.
3. Cargo cover is 100 times better.
4. Rear hatch 'sucks' itself closed....our 2001 needed to be slammed and now rattles
5. Steering wheel feels good....but I prefer the look of the 2001 sport wheel
6. Doors....feel more solid and sound better when closed.
7. Stock Stereo...I was under the impression that the stock DSP system had never been updated...but this does sound better than the 2001.

First thing to do is get winter tires/rims. If I was smart, I'd get 255-55-18's but I not and want something that looks better. Now...do I get 255-50-19's all around, or go staggered with 285-45-19's in the back....tough call.

I bought Michelin All Seasons for the winter and they handled the cold and snow nicely last winter (knocking on wood right now):

275/40ZR-20 Michelin Latitude Tour HP and 315/35ZR-20 Michelin Latitude Tour HP

Like you, I didn't want to put on smaller rims. GBG

Black on Black.

Now I'm just waiting for my winter rims/tires to show up! 19's staggered. I had to drive it home through the mountains....not fun on the stock Diamaris 20's!

In meantime...I've been 'playing' with stuff in the garage. I updated the Nav firmware to latest version....the perspective view is awesome. Thanks so much to everyone on this board for posting the info on how to do that. I would never have known that it was possible. My dealer assured me I had the most current version.......but it was on V23......it took me 10 minutes on this forum to update it to v30......I just shake my head.

I'm still confused on the whole bluetooth thing.....I know...I know...it's been posted a 100 times....believe me I've read them all. What I do know is that I can't get it to work but there is a bluetooth antenna in the back.
