Cool Upgrade on the NAV operating sytem 4-1/60 to 4-1/90

Hi All,

I am currently running 4-1/60 on my operating system for my nav and use the 2005 navteq map cd. If I upgrade the operating system to 4-1/91 , will this give me a 3d map perspective?.

Do I need to upgrade the operating system and purchase the 2007 map cd for the 3d perspective ? I was told by Difeo BMW in NJ that that are no updates available for the 2006 x5 which is what I have. They also tell me that 3d presective is only available on the 2007's and 2008's vehicles.

They say the only thing I can do right now is purchase an updated map CD. Which I hear the 2008 version will be released by Navteq in early February?

Sorry about all the questions, just trying to get to the bottom of this and what better place to get answers then here.

Thanks
