Laughter for the modifyingly challenged..

Why I dont do mods..

So I got a hair up my a$$ today and decided, "Screw it, Ill take the grille off and paint it"...And then things went downhill....FAST. uch:

Long story short, Im probably the only person with an '04 X5 with no left grille..HAHAHAHA!!! Stop laughing! Theres like a microinch difference between the point where the outer part disables, and totally snapping off!! Why couldnt they reinforce that sh*&!! So yes, I snapped six of those little silver F(*&#in things off, and its not even worth putting the thing on...

Anyway, I guess I am forced now to pay for a new one..Just thought that would make the technomechanical geniuses on here chuckle a little... :p

That's gotta suck but I applaud you for your attitude. If it was me however, that one grill would've ended up into tiny little pieces. :p

Hey, nothing venture, nothing gained. You haven't lost anything other than a little bit of time and a few days driving without a left grill . No big deal, your new titanium grill will look great though!
