I asked the same question here when I was a newbie, it's the window regulator 99% of the time. I actually bought the motor thinking that that was the problem; it wasn't.

I thought the same thing too, but i just changed my regulator, and my window will only go up, it won't go down, i even tried the motor without the regulator and the motor will only turn one way. I don't know if its the motor or the switch now.

Thanks, ill let you know when i put it back together today, but so far i tried my passenger switch on the driver side and it rolls up, so it looks like the switch.
