Are rear brake sockets included in as "electric" under CPO?

Just wondering cause my wife took in the X to Mc Kenna BMW and they for a rear brake light warning message, first they told her it was the bulb so she bought one from them, I changed it when I got home and....nothing so I switched the passanger brake socket to the drivers and wallah! It's the socket! So, my wife goes back in today (cause im too busy ) and they tell her sockets are not covered under CPO...and im like

So what do you guys think...I feel they should of nailed it the first time she took it in, BTW right before that it had the alternator replaced...is my shit a lemon?

i just had a socket replaced on the wifes x5 aswell and they did it for free also a cpo car..

on the inv it said that it was goodwill , whatever that means !!
