Rear Brake Rotors???

Hi all,

I am trying to buy some rear rotors and pads for my 01 4.4 and find that I have a selection of 3 different types/brands. Are they all the same or do I need to buy a particular type.
Can anyone help ??

Thanks

Rod

I suggest that you buy OEM rotors and pads offered by the dealer. This will surely prevent you from problems with noise while braking and provide less dust

OEM pads will not provide less dust

I have Brembo rotors and Axxis Deluxe pads and am very happy with the setup.

Get the Brembo's. What you order will depend on the production date of your vehicle (pre 8/2000 has one style and post 8/2000 has a different style)

I got mine from Tire Rack and got a good deal there.

I agree with UCrew5 get the Brembos. I have the cross drilled Brembos with EBC pads the "Red Stuff" and now that they have been bedded they are awesome and very low dust. Plus the Brembos just look sharp.

Bavarian Autosport rotors. Cross-drilled stock rotors that are zinc plated. Looks like Jessica, works like stock.......

Another vote for the Brembo rotors and a variant of Axxis deluxe pads. Low dust, better performance, non rusting top hats, way cheaper than OEM (even shipped US to UK) and the cross drilled look is way better.
