In 11 days we start gaining a minute of daylight each day. Pitchers and catchers report 53 or so days after that. 2 1/2 weeks later is clock change again. Those big ass wheels will be back on before you know it.

i really need to get some snow tires. We had a huge snow fall last night, and this morning it was freaky to drive. Slipping and slidding every where. I need to get some cheap rims and put some thinner tires on.. Who got some cheap rims for sale?? heh

did you add spacers to the 18's in the rear?
dvs - nice ride by the way
Did you put spacers on the rears to help fill out the wheel wells after getting used to the look of your 22's? If yes, how wide? |

Take a look on Craigslist for the rims...I was able to pick up some basic 17" BMW rims with 1 year old snow tires for about $500. Not as fresh looking as the 19's, but handles great in the snow.

Hal88 - Thanks & j0nblayz - Here are some wheels on CL
These wheels have okay winter tires and are 18's so they'll fit over the larger brake calipers on the 4.6's and 4.8's but they're just outside Sacramento and it looks like you're in Oregon, so not sure if you want to deal with shipping costs, or a road trip...
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pts/529475853.html There are also some 19's with non-snow tires but I've heard they don't do as well as the 18's and 17's in the snow... http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pts/531586944.html |
